- Responsible for Strategic Planning & Leadership
- Providing Financial Planning & Analysis quarterly and yearly basis
- Hands on experience in Budgeting/Forecasting/Cost Control and Risk Management
- Plans and Installs Accounting/Taxation/Internal Control/IFRS systems
- Contribute to the achievement of the company’s business objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy.
- Provide assistance and in-depth analysis on Mergers & Acquisitions
- Provide Management reporting/MIS
- Audits transactions for legality and sufficiency of funds
- Responsible for handling the Working capital flow in the organization
- Audits transactions (Statutory/Tax/Internal) for legality and sufficiency of funds
- Reviews Corporate re-structuring
- Monitor external contracts and services provided by suppliers to ensure that these are operating effectively and provide the best value to the company.
- Carry out all necessary actions to ensure that the company meets its financial and legal obligations.
- Direct and control finance staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and developed and so that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standard.
- Provide financial advice and guidance to the company’s managers and staff to enable them to achieve their objectives.
- Oversee the preparation of the company’s financial accounts to ensure that these are presented accurately and on Time
- Develop and implement an internal audit programme to ensure that the company complies with financial procedures and regulations.
- Renders assistance to all auditors during their examinations
- Provides counsel to department heads regarding accounting Cost management and budgetary policies, procedures and reporting
Skills to have :
- In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping
- Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.
- In-depth understanding of taxation laws, keeping abreast with various amendments & statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting softwares.
